No live music. More sports bar. 30+ tv screens, dart boards, foosball table, friendly staff.
Great food. Fab vibe. Alex our waitress was outstanding. Kind, helpful and attentive service. Would definitely eat here again.
Nice place to chill out after a tiring day at work.Wonderful sports bar located in the heart of downtown and serves the best beer in the city.Good ambience and friendly staff!
We were there for a company Christmas party. It is very spacious. The customer service is very efficient. Food is great
We came here for a corporate event of 40 people and it was superbThe food was exceptional, all fresh & high quality ingredients - everything we ate made us ‘feel good’The service was incredibly friendly and accommodating to our large group (they even blocked off an extra portion of the restaurant). The planning process was the easiest amongst all other restaurants, they included the head chef & management to help select a menu. And their prices were affordable with no minimum! If you’re doing a corporate event, this is the place!
Had another very enjoyable experience at the Bottom Line tonight. The service is always friendly and attentive without being cloying and the food never disappoints but two other things stood out to make this visit a little more pleasurable. First, on our way out, the young lady at the front entrance noticed my 5 year old son eyeing the rod hockey game and came over and asked if he would like to play. She set us up with a puck and the game was on. The second thing was Wayne the owner. He is always busy chatting with patrons and managing the table service and could be forgiven for not noticing everyone that comes and goes. However, as we were playing the hockey game, he made a point of coming over to say hello and made my son's day with a signed picture. Thanks Wayne and all your staff!
The food was fantastic and reasonably priced, came out very quick, but it was odd that last call was 7 on a Saturday night.
I work with an International Charity Organization. Recently we hosted a pre-event VIP party at The Bottom Line. This was part of a large fundraiser event we were running at the Hockey Hall of Fame. What an amazing way to kickoff this vital annual fundraiser initiative for us. The VIP party at The Bottom Line was the second year we hosted there, so we knew we could depend again on Wayne, Matty and the rest of TBL crew to provide an unforgettable experience for our guests. Another great success. Thank you so much!
Great standing establishment for sports watching.Has a large enough space to accompany company events / private events on one end and the seating bar on one end. Great functional space. Tvs in all nooks and angles for your viewing pleasure. Attention to customers from staffs has always been great. They are quick to respond always serving with a smile.Food comes out warm. Easy menu , reasonable priced options / portions Highly recommended.
The food was fine but the service was excellent.
Had Nachos. Modified it to what I liked. No problem. Great friendly service.
I've been here many times. This is my favourite watering hole for after work events. They have a decent selection of beer, although it's not huge. They have your typical bar food, but you can also get a decent meal here too.Service can be a mixed bag here, it's normally pretty good, but some servers are horrible. We've learned where not to sit. We don't go here as much anymore, primarily for this reason. Although the younger crowd doesn't like this place as much either, as it's not a club atmosphere. Personally I prefer this, as I can actually sit down and drink my beer and carry on a conversation.
My sister ate there last week and clearly informed the place and waitress that she has severe Celiac disease. She ordered a gluten free pizza and was served regular pizza. She spent the night throwing up and was very sick. This is extremely dangerous for her and a disgrace for a restaurant to do this to her. Don't chance this place if you are Celiac.
Have walked by this place a thousand times and decided to go on. I was happy with my choice the food was very good. The service was friendly but a bit slow. I get that it is Toronto but the mix drinks seemed very, very expensive for what they were. However, I liked the place. But my main complaint about a place that is a sports bar - - play the volume on the game not music.
Honestly, food was fantastic !!!!! Service was slow......waited for a tables, no big deal. Went to the bar for drink while waiting....guess I wasn't a well dressed business man so I didn't get any service. Got our table and the server room over 10 mins to bring our beer and pop. She was sweet but not attentive or had a sense of urgency what so ever !!!!!!
This place is amazing. My boys and I came here for the 2019 NBA championship and even though it was soo packed we got everything in a timely manner and there were at least 12 of us. There were lots of TV all around and they even had a projector in the middle so you wont miss a beat, a great place to watch sports for sure. The owner Wayne was a great host along with the main hostess and servers who did their best (even though it was really busy). Best memory of the year by far.
Good atmosphere. Love going to this place before a leafs or raptors game. Wonderful staff. Love the simply menu and great selection of beers. Totally recommend it.
We received a gift certificate and were hungry so thought to grab a bite and drinks. The place was spacious and our server was lovely. She made sure everything was good and checked in multiple times on our delicious orders of wings, sliders and beef dip.
Waitress was amazing wish l got her name, stopped in for drinks.
My first and last time coming to this place. After we got seated, it took 30 minutes before someone came to take our drink orders. Even when we ordered food, it was wrong. We ordered nachos with ground beef, they brought nachos with pulled pork. Whatever, we didn't say anything and just went with it. Then I ordered the suicide wings. It was all heat and no flavor what's so ever. With so many options further east on Front St with better service and better tasting food, you are better off going elsewhere. I did end up gettting a free beer due to a mix up, but it still wouldn't make me come back. I suggest going somewhere else. And that's the bottom line, because Stone Cold says so!
Great food. Good service
It's like Cheers, but with Wayne... (great beer, solid food and incredible staff).
Best bar around! Great food, amazing staff and the best environment. Definitely recommend this place. Dress up, dress down or be reppin your favourite jersey this place makes you feel right at home!
A very popular after work spot with amazing chicken wings. Recommended that you make a reservation on game nights as it fills up quickly. A great option for a tasty, pre game bite and drink. A decent selection of taps as well.
Really beautiful place atmosphere is Fantastic
I had the chicken wings and the mac and cheese with pulled pork..... Amazing!
Cowboy & the staff always their 2 please had great time during Superbowl Sunday😎
Great bar great food before the game!
Good food. Service could be better, more attentive though
Food was subpar. Ordered a Cheese burger and fries. Burger was average, fires were cooked in last weeks old grease. and over cooked. For what I paid I think someone ate the other half of my meal cause not worth bang for the buck
Can't really comment on much since we left after waiting for someone, anyone, to acknowledge our existence! 15 minutes!! It was after the first intermission of a Leafs game with 3 staff and not a lot of patrons. So instead we went to Kelly's Landing and received prompt service as usual.
Great food, great atmosphere. Met the owner Wayne, he was a very kind and welcoming person. Definitely would go back again.
Great hidden location tucked away on front street. Easy to miss but fairly spacious once you walk in. One of the easier locations to find seats on a Friday afternoon after work. Drinks are standard downtown prices but there are specials on most days. More of a drinks plus snacks place than a dinner spot.
The food was alright, albeit pricey for a sports bar. They brought our main courses out before our appetizers so that was a bit odd. Miscommunication maybe? Our server was very sweet and helpful, which always makes the experience more pleasant. They have about a hundred televisions around the place and so no matter where you sit, you can see the game! Television superimposed on the mirror in the bathroom, that's a win! We watched a world cup game and it was great!
I had an amazing experience here. Everyone was super friendly and the food was amazing and they have a really nice atmosphere. 100% would go back.
Our meals were delicious! Love this spot, always a great time and super lively! Great place to catch up with friends and watch a game.
Prices were what you'd expect for this kind of sports pub style restaurant. Menu was a little limited and Food was okay, not great. My friends chicken fingers were pretty dry, but the fries were good. It was pretty loud though, definitely not the best spot for conversation.
I have been to Bottom Line before and I typically order the wings and fries. Yesterday my food looked like it had been sitting under the heat lamp for quite some time while my colleagues food was being prepared. I only ate 3 wings until I couldn't continue. They discounted me 50% off of my fries! My fries?! Anyways I won't be back. I thought that was rude and a little insulting considering.
If you love sports- especially Hockey, you'll enjoy your time here. Great service and amazing food.Entertainment TVs are all over places however there are also setting area that are separated for big social eats.
Food is overpriced and tasted bland. Service was great and the atmosphere, is upbeat.
IPA was very tasty, fries hot, freshly cooked and nicely spiced. May have been my veggie burger being first off the grill that resulted in disappointing results as others in my party enjoyed theirs. Lots of space set aside for private corporate party. Staff very attentive and professional.
Snobby waitresses, expensive burgers, no notice on whether or not the Hidden Burger (inside the bar) was closed. They said it was closed for a while but I've been there within the last few months. It was the only good part about that place. Now it's just as bad as any expensive bar in town
This is one place u can relax good atmosphere TV everywhere and a very comforting surrounding, the owner knows alot of his clientele and is happy to see you also he works and socialized with people and it's very sports orientated. Worth the visit the staff and food are great...
jan 18. 2020i came to this place before a leaf game. got a seat no problem at around 530 pm but then sat there for 25 mins without anyone approaching. had to ask flag down someone to ask who our servers was. she was nice and took our drink order. 10 mins later we got out drink. 15 mins after that they finally took our order. while waiting we finished our first drink and was never asked if we wanted another in the 25 mins we waited for the food. we got our food. it was good. the server never came back to see if everything was good or to ask if we wanted another drink. we sat there for 15 mins after eating and eventually had to flag down the sever to ask for the bill.overall:food 4 out of 5service .5 out of 5
Great service! Food was awesome!
Atmosphere is kind of quiet for a sports bar but they have above average food. Chicken tenders and nachos in particular were quite good
Great place for any sport event or social gathering!!! Amazing owner and staff!!! Great food and drinks!!!
As a visitor from out of town we were pleased that we were able to walk in and get a seat without waiting before a Leafs game but we were all a little disappointed with the portion sizes. I have had appetizers larger than the main course ! received outside of the city. Because of this I won't go back and instead try a different place that might inch closer to my expectations
Great food & service. Their nachos & chicken tenders are really good. I’ll definitely be back.
Great bar to see any game, because have a lot of TV with all kind of sports
Cold beer, good and enthusiastic service. Other than that it was a disappointing experience. You come with the expectation of an elevated sports bar and leave with the impression that you’ve just visited a regular Boston Pizza. Smallest portions of appetizers and nothing fancy about them, only the prices are elevated. Wings were dry, put together in a hurry. The sliders were tonnie sized and come in threes so had to pay extra cause we were four people trying out this place. The nachos were a joke, not only the presentation was awful but how can you ruin the easiest dish in the planet?? With so many great bars a block away I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are looking just for drinks and a mediocre experience.
